북아프리카연구센터 규정

제1조(명칭 및 위치)  아프리카연구센터를 북아프리카연구센터(이하 ‘센터’로 표기)로 개편하고 센터를 부산외국어대학교 지중해지역원(이하 ‘지역원’으로 표기) 산하에 둔다.

제2조(목적) 이 규정은 센터가 북아프리카 지역 국가의 정치, 경제, 종교, 국제개발협력, 공공외교, 분쟁, 사회, 역사, 문화, 언어 등에 관하여 종합적이고 학제적인 연구 방법을 통한 지역 연구 및 북아프리카 각 지역의 최신 정보 및 자료의 수집, 정리, 분석, 공유 및 확산에 중점을 두어 아프리카학 발전과 국가 발전에 이바지하고, 이를 위한 운영을 원활하게 하기 위한 것이다.

제3조(사업) 센터는 제2조의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음 각 호의 사업을 한다.

     1. 학술지, 아프리카 연구 자료집, 정기 간행물 발간 

     2. 아프리카 자료 수집 및 DB 구축 

     3. 학술대회, 연구회, 강연회 개최

     4. 독회 및 콜로키움 개최

     5. 국내외 정부 기관 및 기타 기관과의 교류 및 협력

     6. 정부 및 관련 기관의 대아프리카지역 관련 업무에 대한 협력

     9. 센터 설립 목적과 관련된 기타 사업

제4조(구성) 

  ① 센터에는 센터장과 1인의 간사를 둔다.

  ② 센터장은 지역원장이 임명하고, 간사는 센터장이 임명한다. 센터장과 간사의 임기는 2년으로 하고 연임할 수 있다. 

제5조(예산) 센터는 매 회계연도마다 사업계획서 및 사업 예산을 작성하여 지역원 운영위원회의 심의를 받아야 한다.

제6조(결산) 센터는 당해 연도 연구 활동 종합보고서 및 결산서를 지역원 운영위원회에 제출하여야 한다.

제7조(재정) 센터의 재정은 자율적으로 조달함을 원칙으로 하고, 센터 운영을 위한 기본 경비는 지역원이 부담한다. 

  ②학술용역사업 수입금, 국고지원금, 기타 연구용역비 등으로 재정을 충당한다.

제8조(개정) 이 규정은 지역원 운영위원회의 심의를 거쳐 개정할 수 있으며, 규정의 시행을 위하여 필요한 세부 사항은 이 대학교 연구소 관리위원회가 정하는 바에 따른다.

제14조(기타) 이 규정에서 정하지 아니한 사항은 이 대학교의 관련 규정에 따른다.

부    칙

 이 규정은 2020년 10월 1일부터 시행한다. 

 이 개정 규정은 2022년 9월 1일부터 시행한다.

Center for North African Studies (CNAS) Regulations

Article 1.(Name and Location) The Africans Studies Center is reorganized into Center for North African Studies(CNAS) (hereinafter referred to as 'Center') and the center is placed under the Institute for Mediterranean Studies (hereinafter referred to as 'IMS') at Busan University of Foreign Studies.

Article 2.(Objective) Article 2. This regulation stipulates that the Center conducts regional research and up-to-date information on each North African region through comprehensive and interdisciplinary research methods on politics, economy, religion, international development cooperation, public diplomacy, conflict, society, history, culture, and language of North African countries. It aims to contribute to the development of African studies and national development by focusing on the collection, organization, analysis, sharing, and dissemination of data and to facilitate smooth operation.

Article 3 (Business) The Center conducts the following projects to achieve the purpose of Article 2.

     1. Publication of academic journals, African studies materials, and periodicals

     2. Africa data collection and DB construction

     3. Hosting academic conferences, research meetings, and lectures

     4. Reading and Colloquium

     5. Exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign government agencies and other organizations

     6. Cooperation with the government and related organizations in Africa-related tasks

     9. Other projects related to the purpose of establishing the center

Article 4.(Composition) 

  ① The center has a center manager and one secretary.

  ② The head of the center is appointed by the director of IMS, and the secretary is appointed by the head of the center. The term of office for the Center Director and Secretary is two years and may be reappointed.

Article 5 (Budget) The center must prepare a business plan and business budget for each fiscal year and undergo deliberation by the IMS Steering Committee.

Article 6 (Settlement) The center must submit a comprehensive report on research activities and settlement of accounts for the year to the IMS Steering Committee.

Article 7 (Finance) In principle, the center's finances are voluntarily procured, and the basic expenses for the center's operation are borne by IMS.

  ② Finances shall be appropriated through revenues from academic service projects, government subsidies, and other research service expenses.

Article 8 (Amendment) These regulations may be amended through deliberation by the IMS Steering Committee, and details necessary for the implementation of the regulations shall be determined by the University Research Institute Management Committee.

Article 14 (Others) Matters not stipulated in these regulations shall follow the relevant regulations of this university.

Supplementary Provisions

 This regulation is effective from October 1, 2020.

 These revised regulations will take effect on September 1, 2022.
